The Ohio State Highway Patrol Canfield Post, along with the Canfield Police Department and the Boardman Police Department, say three people were arrested for OVI's during Friday night's check point in Boardman.
In a press release, OSHP said 178 cars passed through the sobriety checkpoint on State Route 7 near Mill Creek Dr. in Boardman Township between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Of those vehicles, three were diverted for standardized field sobriety testing, resulting in two OVI arrest.
Three OVI arrests were made as a result of the saturation patrols.
OSHP also said a felony weapons arrest was made during the saturation patrols.
