On Thursday, 21 News showed you what the downtown Youngstown explosion scene looked like in the eyes of Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputies. We've now obtained video from the Youngstown Police Department showcasing its officers' point of view.

This video showcases officers helping even more victims and assisting the sheriff's deputies responding to the scene.

Officers are seen assisting one male occupant who managed to escape the building who appeared to be covered in debris.

Another woman rescued from the rubble, who was also seen in the sheriff's deputy's video is also seen with a firefighter stating that she was unable to move.

The video also gives us a clearer image of the rear end of the building. A rear entrance shows fallen debris all throughout the building. 

The explosion occurred at the Realty Building in downtown Youngstown, which houses a Chase Bank on the first floor and several apartments on the upper floors.

The incident claimed the life of one Chase bank employee, Akil Drake, whose body was found in the rubble around 12:30 a.m. the day after the explosion.

Several other occupants of the building had been taken to the hospital. One had previously been reported to be in critical condition, but this patient is stable as of Friday morning.

Several other patients have since been released from the hospital. As of this writing, three patients are still hospitalized, all of whom are in stable condition.
