Youngstown Police have arrested two women suspected of harassing people and asking them for money at a drive-thru automated teller machine.

Three officers were called to a bank on Market Street near Midlothian Boulevard to investigate complaints that two women were swearing at ATM customers if they denied their request to give them money.

Police say when they spotted 44-year-old Salimah Elamin walking nearby, they put her in handcuffs, recognizing her as the same woman they cited back in April for harassing bank customers.

Elamin was booked into jail on a new trespassing charge and for failing to show up in court on a previous trespassing charge.

The second woman, 37-year-old Kara Miller was arrested after police discovered she was wanted on charges filed in Maryland.
