NTSB holding investigative hearing on East Palestine train derailment in June

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will hold an investigative hearing in East Palestine in June.
The NTSB's hearing on June 22 and 23 will be open to the public.
According to the release, the agency will gather sworn testimony about the toxic train derailment during the hearing. It will focus on the preparedness of first responders, the circumstances that led to the decision to vent and burn the tank cars and the wayside detection systems.
The hearing will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 23 at East Palestine High School (360 West Grant Street).
