Columbiana County sheriff's deputy injured after crash in Madison Township
Troopers say a 2020 Ford Explorer driven by a 68-year-old Columbiana County sheriff's deputy ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and six guardrail supports, drove off a concrete barrier and landed in a creek 18 feet below.

A Columbiana County sheriff's deputy is injured after a crash Tuesday morning.
According to a press release from OSP, the crash occurred just after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday on US-30 in Madison Township.
Troopers say a 2020 Ford Explorer driven by 68-year-old Columbiana County sheriff's deputy Willie Coleman ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and six guardrail supports, drove off a concrete barrier and landed in a creek 18 feet below.
OSP dispatchers confirmed the vehicle involved was a Sheriff's Office cruiser.
Coleman only sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to the hospital to be treated.
The crash is under investigation.
