Youngstown Police are investigating after a shooting at a local bar early Saturday morning.

According to a police report, officers responded to Vibez Restaurant and Event Center on East Midlothian Boulevard just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

A separate police report reveals that a shooting victim showed up at an area hospital just 10 minutes after police were initially called to the scene. However, police aren't sure if this victim was connected to the scene.

That victim's condition is not known at this time.

Police spoke with a security guard at the bar who told police he did not see any suspects, but only heard gunshots and took cover behind a nearby vehicle in the parking lot.

The bar manager also told police he had heard gunshots, but did not see anyone and was unaware of any potential fights going on inside or outside the bar beforehand.

Police found several spent shell casings in the parking lot and also found a vehicle struck by gunfire with a punctured tire.

No suspects have been named at this time.
