The South Range and Mathews softball teams are heading to the state semi finals with wins Friday.

The Raiders defeated Champion 1-0 in 8 innings while the Mustangs beat Canton Central Catholic 4-1.

Mathews plays Thursday at 12:30 and the Raiders at 5:30 at Firestone Stadium in Akron.
