A 43-year-old man who police say died twice and was revived following a crash on Youngstown's  Madison Avenue Expressway has passed away.

Police say a car crashed into a divider on the highway Thursday afternoon. Police say the driver was initially pronounced dead on arrival, but crews were able to revive him and transport him to the hospital.

Police say he died again on the way to the hospital but was again revived and admitted into the hospital.

The Mahoning County Coroner and the Youngstown Police tell 21 News that the victim has died.  His name has not yet been released.
