A federal investigation into high-level drug trafficking has led to a Farrell man being sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison.

A U.S. District Court Judge in Pittsburgh handed down the sentence to 30-year-old Denzel Williams, who was found guilty of trafficking fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.

Authorities say Williams dealt the drugs in 2020 and 2021.

As part of a plea agreement, Williams acknowledged responsibility for the distribution of 20 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of heroin, and 60 grams of crack cocaine.

Investigators say William’s arrest and prosecution is the result of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation which identifies, disrupts, and dismantles high-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and criminal organizations that threaten communities.
