The case of a Portage County pastor who engaged in prostitution in Columbiana County closed just as soon as it opened.

Pastor William "Bill" Johnson of Friendship Bible Church in Randolph, Ohio pled guilty to one count of engaging in prostitution and one count of possessing criminal tools during his arraignment on Friday.

According to court records, Johnson has already been handed his sentence of two years of probation.

At this point, it is unknown whether or not this conviction will affect Johnson's status as a pastor in any way. We've reached out to Johnson for comment and are waiting to hear back.
