Just days after a homicide at a bar in Warren, police are now investigating another homicide in the city.

Around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a home on the 1300 Block of Westwood Drive NW in referenced to a deceased male. Police identified the male as 48-year-old Andrew Warner.

Dispatchers tell 21 News the death was originally reported as a cardiac arrest, but police later found the cause of death to be homicide.

Police arrested 44-year-old Gabriel Hendrix on Lovers Lane near Caleb Road shortly before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in connection with Warner's death. Hendrix is charged with murder.

Information on the events leading up to the homicide is unknown at this time, but the report lists the weapons uses in the murder as "personal weapons," which are defined as hands, feet, fists, teeth, etc.

The report also reveals that Hendrix and Warner were acquaintances.
