The man who made the phrase "Beam me up" famous long before Jim Traficant uttered the words is coming to the Valley.

Fans of the sci-fi saga Star Trek will have a chance to see the man who captained the Starship Enterprise in person.

JAC Management has announced that William Shatner, known to Trekkies as Captain James Tiberius Kirk, will appear at Packard Music Hall following a showing of the movie “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” on September 26.

Shatner will be live on the stage at the theatre at 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from his seven decades-long careers as an actor, producer, director, writer, and – most recently – space traveler.

Fans will also have a chance to ask Shatner questions during an audience-led Q&A.

In 1966, Shatner originated the role of “Captain James T. Kirk” in the television series Star Trek, a show that spawned a feature film franchise where Shatner returned as Captain Kirk in seven of the Star Trek movies, one of which he directed.

He’s won Emmys and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of lawyer “Denny Crane” on both The Practice and Boston Legal. He received four more Emmy nominations as well as other Golden Globe and SAG Award nods.

A limited number of VIP tickets will be available, which include premium seating and a photo opportunity with Shatner.

Tickets start at $39.75 (plus applicable service fees) and go on sale Friday, May 17th, 2024, at ticketmaster.com & packardmusichall.com
