Boardman High School's Rock Orchestra, Project Mayhem, will perform its Spartan Stadium Show on Friday, May 17. This year's electric performance will be followed by fireworks courtesy of F&V Fireworks in Beaver, Pa.

In April, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) recognized Boardman Schools as the "Best Community for Music Education" in the United States for 2024.

The school credits the more than 40 student musicians who make up the orchestra as one of the many reasons why received their esteemed designation from NAMM.

This year's concert setlist includes a wide range of songs, from Foo Fighters to the Zac Brown Band, to Guns and Roses and Olivia Rodrigo.

"Our March concert was sold out with more than 1,700 fans in the Boardman Performing Arts Center," said Mayhem Music Director, Bill Amendol. "This 2-hour show will be a 'Best Of Mayhem' performance with more than 60 percent of the songs as new material from the indoor concert that we performed in March."

Tickets are now available for the Mayhem Concert set for Friday, May 17 at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 general admission. The public may purchase tickets at Boardman High School at the main front entrance on any school day between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Rain date for Mayhem is Saturday, May 18.

There will be seating in the home stands and blanket-only lawn seats on the field. There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase and families from across the Mahoning Valley are invited to rock out in the stands and on the turf.
