After 15 years serving the community, a small businesses in Cortland is permanently closing its doors.
Family run bakery, Just Pizzelles, announced that they will be closing this coming weekend.
Just Pizzelles owner Christina Benton said in a press release that they are closing so they can focus on their family life.
"They say all goods things must come to an end, and I guess that's true for now. Running a small family business has taken all our dedication, time and lives. It is now time for us to enjoy our family and begin to 'live' life. Unfortunately, we all know too well how short life is, so we will now be able to enjoy each other," said Benton.
Benton ran the businesses alongside her husband Allan, and their daughter, Emma.
In the release, Benton thanked everyone for all the businesses the Valley has given them over the years.
Benton ends the press release by saying, "We are now onto our next chapter, if you don't know, I do not like goodbyes...so instead, I'll see you later!!!!"
Just Pizzelles is no longer taking orders.
