More roadwork is expected to begin next week, meaning more potential head aches for motorists that don't plan ahead.
Here is a list of all the projects expected to begin this upcoming week, where they will be and what to expect.
U.S. Route 422 & State Route 5 resurfacing: Champion, Southington and Warren townships.
Beginning May 6, U.S. 422 from North Leavitt Road to State Route 305 and State Route 5 from U.S. 422 to West Market Street are expected to have lane restrictions.
The project is expected to be finished in September.
State Route 5 bridge replacement: Vernon Township.
Starting Monday, State Route 5 will be closed just north of Bushnell Campbell Road through late May.
Motorists can take a detour of State Route 88 to State Route 7.
State Route 46 & 169 resurfacing: Niles.
Starting Monday, State Route 46 between Robbins Avenue and Niles Vienna Road and State Route 169 between State Route 46 to U.S. 422 will have lane restrictions.
Work is expected to be finished in August.
