A Mercer County man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being convicted of violating federal laws that protect children against sexual exploitation.
Federal investigators say 22-year-old Hank Fisher of Jamestown, PA distributed images and videos of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Fisher had thousands of images and videos of child sexual abuse, according to prosecutors.
United States District Judge Susan Paradise Baxter also ordered 15 years of supervised release when Fisher completes his sentence.
Fisher must also pay $7,000 restitution.
Prior to imposing the sentence, Judge Baxter noted the lifelong impact that these crimes would have on the young victims depicted in the child sexual abuse material.
