Harbor Freight Tools looking to open new Youngstown location in Spring

Harbor Freight Tools is looking to add another location to its plethora of stores in the Valley with a brand-new location in Youngstown.

The new store will be located at 3487 Belmont Avenue, a plaza that also houses O'Reilly Auto Parts, Citi Trends, Dollar Tree and Aldi.

No official opening date has been given yet, but a press release from Harbor Freight states that the store is expected to open later in the spring with a specific date being revealed closer to opening day.

Construction for the new location is already underway, utilizing workers and companies from Youngstown and its surrounding areas.

The new location is expected to bring 25 to 30 new jobs to the area with positions including Sales and Logistics Supervisors, Senior Associates, Sales Associates and seasonal employees.

According to the release, Harbor Freight offers competitive starting rates along with a benefits package that includes robust health coverage and Thanksgiving and Christmas off.
