Dog enters cardiac arrest, euthanized after being found emaciated
Shortly after being taken by humane agents, the dog had entered cardiac arrest and was eventually humanely euthanized.

Animal Charity is investigating after a dog was severely emaciated and had to be euthanized Monday evening.
According to a Facebook post from Animal Charity, a year-and-a-half-year-old Great Dane was brought into a local vet clinic by her owners. Upon seeing the dog's condition, the vet immediately called humane agents.
In a picture posted to Animal Charity's Facebook, which we have chosen not to show due to graphic imagery, the dog appears to be severely emaciated.
Shortly after being taken by humane agents, the dog had entered cardiac arrest and was eventually humanely euthanized.
Animal Charity Coordinator Jane MacMurchy tells 21 News agents are currently consulting with prosecutors about the situation.
