A Warren Police report lists five people as victims of a drive-by shooting on the city’s westside late Wednesday.
Dispatchers got a call from someone reporting that people were screaming, and shots were fired from a car at West Market Street and Austin Avenue SW shortly before 11:30 p.m.
Officers went to St. Joseph Hospital where they found an SUV parked outside the emergency room entrance. The SUV had been shot up. Two passengers had blood on their clothing.
Inside the hospital, three other people were being treated for wounds. The three were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown for further treatment.
Police have not released the conditions of the two male and three female victims.
The police report says the shooting suspect or suspects are not known.
This is the second shooting in as many nights in Warren. Late Tuesday one person was fatally shot just two miles away along Lover's Lane.
