Shelter-in-place alert lifted after gas odor near Poland Seminary High School
Hockenberry told 21 News the alert was lifted at 11:50 a.m. and operations at the high school are back to normal.

A shelter-in-place order for Poland Seminary High School has been lifted.
The Bulldog Alert was originally sent out around 11:15 a.m. due to an odor of gas near the high school.
Poland Local Schools Superintendent Craig Hockenberry told 21 News the shelter-in-place order was due to gas lines being damaged in neighborhoods around the high school.
Hockenberry said the township has been replacing cable lines in various areas and crews damaged two lines within 0.7 miles of Poland Seminary High School Thursday morning.
