A retired Pennsylvania state trooper is scheduled to change his plea for a crash that killed a driver in Southington back in November.

Retired trooper Joseph Yuran of Sharpsville is scheduled for a change of plea hearing in Judge Ronald Rice's court on Tuesday, March 19 for a fatal crash that killed 23-year-old Tyler Richmond.

Yuran is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, OVI and running a stop sign. Police say Yuran ran a stop sign while driving his pickup truck causing him to strike a Chevy Malibu killing Richmond.

Prosecutors say Yuran was ordered not to consume alcohol in a bond for a previous OVI offense.
