The Boardman girls bowling team took home the state crown defeating Troy by 35 pins. It was a good day for Boardman as they brought home the state title as a team, and had two individuals finish inside the top 10. Junior Kaitlyn Greenaway led the way and won the Division I State Bowling Individual Championship.

She rolled a 653 set with games of 218-190-245 to claim the title by one pin. The 245 score was also the highest score in any game at states. 

 Marissa Funk also finished 10th with a 594 set of games of 190-179-225. This was the 5th straight year the team has made it to states, and they end this years run with the title.
