No bond for Warren man indicted on murder charge
A Warren man accused of murder will continue to be held in the Trumbull County Jail without bond.
Rashawn Jordan, 37, who was indicted on a count of murder and two counts of having weapons while under disability. Jordan appeared in court Thursday and pled not guilty to his charges.
Judge Ronald Rice ruled that Jordan continue to be held without bond due to prior violent convictions.
Jordan is a suspect in the shooting death of 36-year-old Eric Shannon, who was found dead on the front porch of a home on McMyler Street near Parkman Road on September 24, 2023.
The Warren Police Department's Street Crime Unit arrested Jordan at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.
A witness told 21 News they heard four gunshots that night and saw a man running away from the scene.
Jordan is due back in court March 19.
