The Austintown Fitch Cheerleading team won first place this past weekend at the 2024 OASSA State Championship in the Division II Traditional Building category. The cheerleading competition took place on Sunday at Big Walnut High School in Columbus. 

The Falcons beat six other teams to take home the gold: Massillon Washington, Teays Valley, Harrison, Walsh Jesuit, Turpin, and Springfield. 

Team members include Emily Beany, Brylee Covan, Brianna Gay, Kamryn Gizzi, Emma Marciano, Ava Marstellar, Hallie Marstellar, Kalynn Robenolt, Aubrey Ross, Mallory Whorten, and Eliana Williams. The team is coached by Julie Williams and Julie Ciolino.
