The Youngstown State men's basketball team can finish as high as second and as low as the fifth  in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament.

The Penguins close out their regular season Wednesday hosting Detroit Mercy. Youngstown State is 21-9 & 13-6 in the conference.

'I think our tournament is going to be awesome," said seventh year coach Jerrod Calhoun.

"I think we have as good as chance as anyone and we should be confident. We're coming off two wins and not only have a great starting five, but we have depth."

The Penguins 21 wins this season and their 24 last year are the first time the program has had "back to back 20 win seasons" since 1964 & 1965.

A win over Detroit Mercy would give the Penguins 46 wins over two seasons, the most since 1957 & 1958.

Calhoun is now 117-105 in his career at Youngstown State.
