A pair of Boardman athletes are heading to the College of Wooster to continue their academic & athletic careers.

 Mackenzie Riccitelli is a four year starter on the basketball team and  was first team All-AAC her sophomore and junior year.  She was on the All Northeast Inland Team her junior year and was Special Mention All-State.  Mackenzie also carries herself well in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. 

The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association recognized her academics by honoring her with the Silver Scholarship Society Award her junior year and this year she will be a Gold Scholarship Society Award Winner.   She is averaging 18.2 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 4.0 apg and 3.4 spg this season by scoring an amazing double digits in all 23 games.

Riccitelli helped lead the team to an AAC Championship this season and is a member of Boardman's 1000 point club.

She'll  major in education where she hopes to be a teacher and a coach.

Mary Catherine Werth has committed  the Fighting Scots in volleyball. 

Werth is a two-time letter winner and was voted AAC 2nd team and District One Honorable Mention her senior season.  She's also a member of the girls basketball progam and was pivotal in them winning the AAC this season. Werth ended her volleyball Season with 224 Kills, 37 blocks, 141 digs, and 13 assists. 

Werth has a 3.78 GPA and plans on dual majoring in secondary education and english with a minor in Physical Education.
