Members of a Veterans of Foreign Wars post that went up in smoke Thursday are wasting no time getting back in business.
VFW Post 7599 Commander John Whitman spoke with 21 News just hours after a fire destroyed the organization’s main building on Edgewood Drive in Pymatuning Township.
Whitman said members are already working to get supplies needed to open a bar in the post’s pavilion on the same property.
The building doesn’t have all the amenities lost when the main building burned, but Commander Whitman says he hopes to be up and running again as early as Saturday.
Whitman says anyone wishing to help will find a GoFundMe link on the post’s Facebook page.
