Farrell woman sentenced to five years probation in stabbing case
A woman from Farrell has escaped prison time in connection to a stabbing she committed in 2022.
Tenicia Shelley, 32, was given a five-year probation beginning with a term in the Northeast Ohio Community Alternative Program on a felonious assault conviction, according to court records.
The sentencing stems from an incident where Shelley stabbed her then 36-year-old boyfriend at the Hilltop Gardens Townhomes in Masury, Pennsylvania.
Shelley stabbed her boyfriend several times with a six-inch kitchen knife, according to court records.
According to police reports, Shelley also swung a knife at another woman who was at the apartment at the time.
Once her time is served at the NEOCAP rehab, she will serve the remainder of her probation under Mercer County, Pennsylvania authorities.
