Police charge foster mom of missing Columbus boy
The foster mother of a missing 5-year-old boy from Columbus has been charged with kidnapping and child endangering, according to court records.
A statewide Amber Alert was issued by police early Wednesday for Darnell Taylor, who was allegedly taken by his foster mother, 48-year-old Pammy May from a Columbus home shortly before 4 a.m.
Taylor is a Black male, age 5, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing Spiderman pajamas and white boots.
The suspect, Pammy Maye, is a Black female, age 48, is 4'9" tall, weighs 115, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green floral nightgown and pink shoes.
The vehicle involved, a gray 2015 Jeep Cherokee was found abandoned by Brooklyn, Ohio Police at around 6 a.m. Police are searching the area using K-9s.
