A century-old company has purchased a Beaver Township trucking terminal that shut down last summer when Yellow Freight filed for bankruptcy.
According to the Mahoning County Auditor’s website, Atlanta-based Saia Motor Freight Line LLC completed the purchase this week of the former Holland trucking property on Market Street for $15,525,000.
Founded in 1924, Saia's operates 194 terminals across the country and employs nearly 14,000 people.
The Holland terminal shut down in late July, followed a few days later by a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by the parent, Yellow Corporation.
