Two arrested in connection with suspicious death in Sharon

Two people have been arrested in connection to a suspicious death of a male in Sharon on Monday.
Mercer County District Attorney Peter Acker tells 21 News that Vincent Hines and Eric Lomax have both been arrested in connection to the suspicious death of 35-year-old Edward Reedy.
Acker tells us that Hines (pictured above on right) was charged with Person Not to Possess a Firearm, Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun, Small Amount of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, Acker tells us Lomax (pictured above on left) is charged with Aggravated Assault, Making Terroristic Threats, Tampering With Evidence and Reckless Endangering. No preliminary hearing has been set for Lomax at this time according to Acker.
According to a criminal complaint, police were dispatched to a home on the 700 Block of New Castle Avenue where they found a Reedy lying by the garage bleeding heavily from the head and the face.
He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Police say Lomax, who was the owner of the home the incident occurred at was allowing Reedy, his wife and his son to stay at the residence with him.
According to the complaint, police obtained information on another male who was with Reedy during a recorded interview.
Police conducted an interview with this male the following day where he told officers that he and Reedy were hanging out in the garage when Lomax arrived at the residence "hostile and enraged."
Police say Lomax began yelling at Reedy about money that he owed him. About two hours after this argument, Lomax came back, this time with a handgun. Police say Lomax fired one shot in the air before approaching Reedy and grabbing him.
According to the complaint, Lomax threatened to kill Reedy if he didn't pay him the money followed by pistol whipping him multiple times until he went unconscious. Police say Lomax fled the scene after this.
According to court records, Hines is set for a preliminary hearing at 10:00 a.m. February 21. Lomax is awaiting a preliminary hearing, but that has not been scheduled yet.
