Warren man guilty of assault with a firearm in apartment shooting last year
John Daniel, 52, was found guilty for a second-degree felonious assault felony with a firearm specification and a fourth-degree domestic violence charge, according to court records.

A Warren man will soon be put behind bars for a shooting at his apartment on Berkshire Drive SE.
John Daniel, 52, was found guilty for a second-degree felonious assault felony with a firearm specification and a fourth-degree domestic violence charge, according to court records.
Last June, officers were called to Daniel’s apartment at around 3 a.m. to investigate a report of shots being fired.
Court records identify the victim as a 40-year-old Youngstown man. Police say he was taken to Saint Joseph Hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds.
Daniel will be sentenced Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
