A recall has been issued for a variety of bed frames sold under the Home Design brand.

According to the recall, the more than 525,000 beds included were sold online at Wayfair, Walmart.com and Overstock.com from July 2018 through November 2023 for between $100 and $300.

The following products are included in the recall:

  • 80002 Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Standard Bed (twin, full, queen, king)
  • 80032 Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Standard Bed (twin, full, queen, king)
  • 80071 Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Platform Bed (twin, full, queen, king)
  • 80053 Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Platform Bed (twin, full, queen, king)
  • 80055 Tufted Upholstered Low Profile Standard Bed (king)

The recalled beds can break, sag or collapse during use, which can lead to falls or injury hazards.

Home Design has received 128 reports of the beds breaking, sagging or collapsing and 36 injuries have been reported.

If you have one of the recalled items, the company will send you a repair kit for free. To get a kit, call 833-383-2967 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
