Folks looking to sample cuisine from up and coming talents this spring will soon get the chance.

Laurel Technical Institute is opening Gigi's Table to the public on January 22.

Along with the opening date, the restaurant announced new menu items to enjoy. This includes a Bahn Mi Sandwich, Oaxacan Red Chile Pork Tamale and a pork wiener schnitzel sandwich.

Different student made dishes will be offered on the menu every week and all dishes will include homegrown items from the campus garden and greenhouse.

Gigi's Table will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Guests will have the option of dining in at the restaurant, take out options, or using the food delivery service app Toast.
