The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Mahoning County will soon be opening a new thrift store in the Boardman Center Plaza.

Society Executive Director Michael Stepp tells 21 News that the new store will be located near the former JoAnn Fabrics location.

This location will be much bigger than the Society's previous store on Williamson Avenue. The new location will be 15,000 square feet while the Williamson location was only 3,500 square feet according to Stepp.

As a result, the store would have a much wider selection of high-quality secondhand products including clothing, furniture items and even vintage toys.

An exact opening date has not been set yet, but Stepp tells us he's hoping to open by Easter.
