Youngstown Playhouse receives $10,000 to support Youth Theatre, educational programming

The funding will be used to support the Playhouse's Youth Theatre and educational programming including the upcoming production of Alice In Wonderland playing January 19 through 21.

The Youngstown Playhouse has announced on Friday that it has received $10,000 from the Walter E. and Caroline Watson Foundation to support its Youth Theatre and educational programming.

The funding will be used to support the Playhouse's Youth Theatre and educational programming including the upcoming production of Alice In Wonderland playing January 19 through 21.

Playhouse Board President John Cox thanked the Foundation in a press release for its support.

"As we prepare to celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2024, support from funders such as the Walter E. & Caroline Watson Foundation and PNC Charitable Trusts is crucial to deepening the impact of the performing arts in the Mahoning Valley," Cox said.
