Youngstown Area Jewish Federation CEO Andrew Lipkin will be stepping down from his position at the end of the year.

Lipkin has been with the Federation since 1985 serving in various roles including Jewish Community Relations Council and Women's Division Director, as well as Assistant Federation Director before assuming his position of CEO in 2015.

According to a press release, the Federation has entered into negotiations with its current financial resource development (FRD) director Lisa Long (pictured below) to replace Lipkin as CEO.

Long has served as FRD director since April of 2018 and has worked in Vermont and the Mahoning Valley in a variety on non-profit roles including leadership positions for over 20 years.

In a press release, Long says she's been working toward the position of CEO since joining the Federation in 2018.

"This is not just a career for me, this is a calling. I am building a community for my children and hopefully their children. Jewish Youngstown is our home," Long said.
