New Year's shooting at Howland bowling alley

 Police in Howland are investigating after one person was wounded at a local bowling alley on New Year's morning.

A call came into Trumbull Dispatch just after 1 a.m. reporting that someone had been shot in the leg at Echo Lanes on the 2500 block of Elm Road.

The victim was transported to a hospital.

A police report from Howland PD does not have any additional details at this time, but does say that a Winchester Smith and Wesson .40 caliber shell and two bullet fragments were collected from the scene.
