Niki Frenchko running to retain position as Trumbull County Commissioner
Niki Frenchko has announced on Wednesday that she's running to retain a position as a Trumbull County Commissioner.
In a press release, Frenchko says she's aiming to finish what she started as "The People's Commissioner." Her full statement can be read below.
“Contrary to the hopes and dreams of the party establishment hacks across Trumbull County, I filed my petitions to continue working as the People’s Commissioner. I will finish the job I started, prayerfully, with a new commissioner, who shares the same vision of improved and responsible government that our taxpayers deserve.”
Frenchko was first elected as Commissioner in November of 2020 when she defeated Democratic opponent Dan Polivka. She is a mother of four, as well as an Army veteran.
Frenchko holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, as well as an Ohio Social Work and Real Estate License. She's worked in compliance and local government planning and community development.
