Nicole Kapalko is a morning Out and About reporter for WFMJ Today and Weekend Today. You can also see Nicole on the evening newscasts as a multimedia journalist.

She is a Trumbull County native and a Howland High School graduate. Nicole earned her bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh.

She worked on many different news, sports, and entertainment news projects throughout her time at Point Park. Nicole grew up as a competitive dancer, which led her to be on PPU's cheerleading teams. Earning her four All-American titles

After graduating college, Nicole returned home to the Valley and got her start in TV news at WFMJ in May of 2022.

When she's not out on a story, Nicole LOVES traveling to Disney World with her family, shopping, going to Steelers games and concerts, and eating out at the Valley's amazing local restaurants.
