A horse jockey from Homeworth has changed his plea in the case of a fight between him and a fellow jockey at Hollywood Gaming in Austintown pleading guilty to an amended charge.
According to court records, 39-year-old Christian Pilares-Moyohulica was originally charged with assault, but pled guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct.
The charges stem from an incident at the horse racing course at the Hollywood Gaming casino in Austintown where security camera video showed Pilares-Moyohuilca assaulting another jockey coming up behind him and tackling him near the track stables according to police.
Police say other jockeys at the scene told officers that Pilares-Moyohuilca kicked the victim in the head.
Court records do not show a sentencing date for Pilares-Moyohulica at this time.
