A quiet start to the weekend, but it won't end that way

Friday will be even warmer than Thursday and feature a good deal of sunshine in the afternoon with the high temperature in the mid-50s.
Clouds will build in late Friday night and temperatures will only fall to the mid-40s.
Saturday will feature more clouds than sunshine with spotty showers possible; Saturday will also be a pretty warm day with afternoon temperatures making it to the upper 50s.
Steady rain will begin around midnight and continue to remain steady throughout much of Sunday morning. Expect steady rain to break up as we head into Sunday afternoon with isolated showers followed by a transition to light snow showers. Saturday’s temperatures will be the warmest around sunrise in the upper 40s and then gradually fall through the 40s throughout the day.
Light snow showers might cause there to be a slick spot or two late Sunday but accumulations won’t be more than a coating across the area.
Monday morning will start with flurries but the afternoon will feature more sunshine with a colder high temperature in the mid-30s.
The second week of December turns quiet from there with a good deal of sunshine and temperatures from the upper 30s to low 40s.
