The Mahoning County Grand Jury has determined that there is enough evidence to put a Youngstown woman on trial for the murder of a man who authorities say was run over by a car on the city’s west side.

A five-count indictment handed up Thursday charges 32-year-old Shanay Jacobs with murder, felonious assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, domestic violence.

Jacobs is charged in connection with the death of 30-year-old Nathaniel Watson in October.

According to authorities, Watson was found underneath a Ford Fusion in the front yard of a home on the 200 block of S. Schenley Avenue on October 15.

The man was pulled out from under the vehicle and emergency personnel began to take life-saving measures, but Watson passed away.

As of Friday, Jacobs remained jailed on $750,000 bond.
