A Pennsylvania father has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting his teenage daughter's boyfriend because he believed he had gotten her addicted to drugs.
Lawrence County Common Pleas Court Judge Dominic Motto on Thursday handed the sentence down to Michael D’Biagio, who was found guilty earlier of criminal homicide.
The 45-year-old Beaver Falls man was arrested in July 2019 for the death of 17-year-old Darren Jevcak in New Castle.
According to New Castle Police, Jevcak was shot several times outside a pizza shop where he worked as a delivery driver.
Witnesses claimed that Jevcak had gotten his daughter addicted to cocaine. Police said there was no evidence to support the claim.
