Mahoning County Commissioners presented Austintown Township Trustees with a check so the township can purchase a new piece of street equipment.  

During Thursday's commissioner meeting, Austintown Township Trustees were given a check for over $200,000 so the township can buy a new street sweeper. 

During today's presentation, the check was made out for $287,688.00, a portion of $624,702.12 that was allotted to the township for the new street sweeper. 

The funds for the street sweeper came from the American Rescue Plan Act.
