The suspect in the murder of a registered nurse and mother of four children in Warren made his first appearance in a Florida courtroom on Wednesday.
A judge in Pinellas County found enough probable cause to keep nineteen-year-old Noel Flores held in jail on a fugitive warrant as he awaits an extradition hearing back to Trumbull County.
Flores a charge filed in Warren for the shooting death of 26-year-old Ashantae Kirksey in her home on the 900 Block of Frances Avenue SE in November.
Marshals arrested Flores earlier this month after receiving word that he had fled Ohio and was staying in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Authorities say Flores had a 9mm firearm on him, which was the same caliber as the weapon used in the murder.
