Boardman man accused of breaking into wife's home while intoxicated

A Boardman man was arrested early Friday morning after he allegedly broke into his wife's home while intoxicated.
According to a police report from Boardman PD, the female victim told police that her husband, identified as 49-year-old Robert Stanar had broken into her home through the window.
Police say Stanar was "highly intoxicated" and that earlier in the night, the two had a verbal argument over the phone over an agreement that he stays at his parents' home whenever he's drinking because he becomes "confrontational and argumentative" when intoxicated.
The female victim told police that Stanar walked over to her house from his parents house while intoxicated because he "just wanted to be with her" and climbed into the house through the window.
Police say the female victim told him to leave and fled into her vehicle to call the police. During this time, Stanar was allegedly banging on the window and yelling for her to come out.
According to the police report, officers also spoke to the victim's 17-year-old daughter who told police that one day prior to this incident, Stanar climbed through the window in the same fashion while intoxicated.
The juvenile told police that she asked Stanar to leave and threatened to record video of him on her cell phone, but Stanar allegedly smacked the victim's hand, knocking the phone out of it.
Police say there was no violence between Stanar and the female victim.
Stanar is charged with Domestic Violence, Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Official Business and Disturbing a Lawful Meeting according to jail records.
He's expected to be arraigned on Tuesday, December 5.
