Struthers to kick off holiday season with parade, festivities

The city of Struthers is announcing its annual Christmas Parade will happen on Friday, December 8 at 6 p.m., beginning in front of the Pizza Joe's location on 5th Street, and will go to the fire station at Elm Street.

After the parade, the city's Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take, followed by holiday treats and events inside the fire station until 9 pm.

The event will include donuts and hot chocolate, along with face painting, photos with Santa, ornament making and music by Bob Noble.

The event is free and open to all Struthers City Schools residences.
