One of two suspects in Hubbard gas station robbery in police custody
One suspect in a Hubbard gas station robbery is currently in police custody, but a second suspect is still at large.
According to the Hubbard City Police Department, charges were filed against both suspects identified as 29-year-old Steven Hill and 29-year-old Dominique Hill both of Seagertown, Pennsylvania in the Girard Municipal Court on Monday.
Police say Steven is currently in the custody of the Erie Police Department, but Dominique is still at large and is believed to be in the Pittsburgh area.
Steven is charged with aggravated robbery, abduction, having weapons under disability, Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, aggravated trespassing, failure to comply and obstructing official business.
Meanwhile, Dominique is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery, failure to comply and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The charges stem from a robbery that occurred in early October at the Shell gas station on West Liberty Street in Hubbard. Police say the store was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man at 11:30 p.m. October 2.
Shortly after the robbery, police chased a vehicle to a dead end where the two suspects jumped out of the car and ran onto the property near Pine Lakes Golf Club.
Court records do now show an arraignment date set for Steven at this time.
