Thrift & Thrive at the Farm in Poland says it has selected Potential Development as its charity of choice during November.
The organization says Potential Development is a Pre-K through 12th grade school for children with autism.
It provides children with autism a safe, structured educational environment with supportive services that give students the necessary skills and independence to lead a productive life.
"Giving back is at the very heart of Thrift & Thrive. We welcome the community to donate their gently used items and likewise shop for new treasures," Jody Cercone, Director of Operations. "We are also proud to support many charitable organizations like Potential Development throughout the year with a portion of our proceeds."
Thrift & Thrive says it accepts donations Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and is open to the public Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The organization chooses a charity each month to provide a portion of their proceeds.
